Portsmouth From Family Archives

Local Portsmouth Student Jonathan Ring and brother Matthew Ring have done something stunning.

Together using photography taken by their grandparents they have designed a book to hold all of them.

We are happy to announce that the book ‘Portsmouth From Family Archives’ is now out. To give the load down, the guys explain some details.

Portsmouth From Family Archives.

A book full of lots of photographs dating from 1950s to 2006.

Taken by one family archive. Relax, grab a hot beverage and feel yourself drift into nostalgia, seeing the sights of Portsmouth, including areas such as, Canoe Lake, Old Portsmouth, Southsea Seafront, Cascades and Town.

*Including a look at some of the films and television programmed filmed here and the building of some of the historic buildings*

The 100-page book will be available for £15 from Amazon.

It’s also available at Bonzo Sutdio and Southsea Gallery, Albert Road. We also hope to get it into other shops too.

We are looking forward to getting our hands on a copy of the book and to give you a full review. Till then however make sure to pick up a copy yourself and enjoy sights of your city.
